Echos That Remain Poem by Debby Pizzo

Echos That Remain

Rating: 5.0

Long after my footsteps
Cease to walk this mortal Earth
And my physical being has turned to dust,
My presence will remain.
You'll hear my sighs
Among the trees;
Whispering in the wind...
A breathless caress
Against your cheek,
A fleeting thought
And shivers down your spine...
My voice singing in your memory...
Echos of who I am.
