Pages Of My Heart Poem by Debby Pizzo

Pages Of My Heart

Rating: 4.8

Brightly colored lights
Twinkle and dance
Across the frozen tundra
Of my soul...
Picture perfect memories
Buried deep within;
Frozen in the starless expanse
And emptiness of Time.
Echos of your laughter,
Soft and bitter-sweet,
Float across my thoughts
On angels wings.
You were taken from me much too soon.
So I hold fast
To the whispered shadows
Etched upon
The pages of my heart.
