When looking at the willow
There came to me a thought
It's not the mourning face
That men have often taught

Pitter pat, it softly falls,
The rain upon the sill.
Harder, harder droplet falls,
Until the sound is shrill.

The dark, it settles on the hills
Every shred of light it kills
Looking up I see the night
Stars above, they shine so bright
...

If you're up before the dawn
You can watch it coming in
As the treetops softly yawn
Waking all the birds within
...

Soft and white the snows falling
Each God's name is calling
Now with White the world is bound
White blankets on the ground
...

Life is like a river,
Stones and dimples bend,
Bending back and forward,
Light the sun doth send.
...

I saw the sun was setting,
Way down along the shore.
I tried to go and chase it,
I chased it more and more.
...

So, when you see a woman
And all you see is pain
Don't you ever stop to think
That you might be insane?
...

So falling down it cries aloud
It's falling down upon the croud
It's shouting now its majesty
To see the humans run and flee
