They were always ready to fight,
Guarding our borders even at night.
For sure our warriors will beat and rout Terroristan
To make proud the dead, brave sons of Hindustan.

Peer is a great fear;
And this fear of peer can even make the near & dear queer;
And it always ends with a tear.

Seven colors in the rainbow, together they stay.
Seven days in a week, together are weaved.
Seven ragas in music, do they ever go astray?
Seven decades of freedom, what have we achieved?

Our heaven is treated like a bird in its cage,
its unable to walk on its own, as in old age.
I come from place known as heaven on earth,

In the heart of an old storyteller I was born;
I was told I was mystical since I had a horn.
I was lonely, I was single, I never had a mate;
Friends I could make none; t'was left to fate.

Once upon a time, there lived a Tasteless Biryani,
That had neither chicken, nor mutton, nor rice.
No one liked it as it was very bland and tawny
It had neither any taste nor any smell of spice.

Hello friends, I am Drishika Shah, a little girl with a big heart from Pandhurna in Madhya Pradesh. I was born in Mumbai on 11th of February and I am so happy that my birth date coincides with that of the great scientist Thomas Alva Edison. I am a huge fan of Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalamji, who is my role-model and hero. I love reading books and enjoy playing with my friends. I am fun loving and a little naughty at times, but I study very well and I love my parents dearly. My parents are very loving and supportive, and I have no words to thank them for their unwavering dedication and commitment towards making me a better human being. I enjoy poetry, and I started writing poetry for fun. Please read my poems and share your valuable opinions regarding the same.)
Guardian Angels: A Tribute
They were always ready to fight,
Guarding our borders even at night.
For sure our warriors will beat and rout Terroristan
To make proud the dead, brave sons of Hindustan.
At Pulwama, many a child lost his/her dear father.
The nation shall forever be their foster mother.
These soldiers are always our gems and pearls
They always stand in awe, when the flag unfurls.
Their parents shall no longer shed a tear,
For, in Terroristan we will sow seeds of fear
Dear warriors, You stay forever in our mind,
Your bravery your souls with ours forever bind.
Jai Hind
Woow Drishika keep it up
