Eben S J Poems

They call out
Their obnoxious repetitive sound
As their wounds worsen
Their screams strengthen
...

Hate seethes inside you
Jealousy courses through your veins
Pain pricks at your mind
Anger boils in heart
...

As I slide the knife in
His face seems to grimace
As blood froths at his mouth
And spills to the floor
...

They all scream or shout
They all want out
Its all up to you
What the hell am i gonna do
...

Forced love is forced to hate
Forced friendship is forced to rivalry
Forced life is forced to die
Forced religion is forced to rebel
...

I slip it in
Ignoring
The pain I close my eyes
I pull the blade out
...

Sometimes when it rains
I like to sit
Alone quietly
And just listen to the rain against my window
...

How can I know where I’m going?
Until I know where I’ve come from?
With the clouds rolling onwards
On the giant sea above
...

As I begin to climb
With the rope
Tight around my neck
I struggle up the ladder
...

10.

Standing buffeted by bygone winds
I renew my bond with agony
Just to check she still walks beside me
She lets me know I’m still here
...

The unbelievable pain hit me
I could hear my blood dripping
My mind was racing
My heart was slowing
...

The forest of smoke and fire
Its everywhere
I can’t see
I can’t breathe
...

The golden glows of sunlight hit me
The smell of freshly cut grass reached me
The sight of freedom exhilarated me
The sounds of birds intrigued me
...

The frozen cities of angels
Fall slowly towards earth
Spinning idly in the air
Around and around
...

The exponential number of lies
Reverberating amongst those close
Shock wave of horror follow
As secrets one kept quiet are revealed
...

Eben S J Biography

I discovered I could write decent poetry (I hope) for the wrong reasons, yet still i'm glad I tried writing. I am currently 16 and I want to see what people think of my poems as to whether or not I should consider trying to get them published.)

The Best Poem Of Eben S J

The Countless Fallen

They call out
Their obnoxious repetitive sound
As their wounds worsen
Their screams strengthen

Secluded snipers
Pick us off
One after another
In a continuous wave

Eerie silence surrounds
And the stench overpowers
Their screams silenced
As their blood pools around them

The everlasting presence of death
Drives some insane
The wind, rain, bullets and shells
Are all too much for others

The only way I stay motivated
Is knowing I am stronger, smarter, luckier
Than the motionless
Lying in piles around my feet

My luck once found
Is now unbound
As my heart begins to pound
I launch my head above the mud mound

It is my turn to charge
Full throttle I go up the ladder
Ready to fight
Ready to die

Ninety years on
I still carry on
Being brave and loyal
Beneath heavy white crested stone
