Just from the blues you stared at me as if nothing ever happened in between us, even when I smiled you seemed not to be moved but in return you gave me that long look that guilted my conscience making me search deep inside me for may be I had wronged you

For no reason, keeping you in a dilemma
Wondering whether I am sick, hungry, hot, cold or even wet but what I only wanted is to have you by my side all the time, anywhere, everywhere and whatever the case
Keeping all the things clean as it should be,

On a bright sunny summer day
Silently and calmly on the lounge I laid
My head and eyes sharply focused on an imaginary vision
Slowly by slowly I alienated myself into a dream

Like a ray of sun
And a spark of firefly in the night,
You light up my life,
I adore you my princess,

Every morning l will wake up
And l will wonder when is this time

Sad testimonies worth crying
Starving bellies with drying throats
Large liquid eyes; sad and contemplative that always seem to burn dim,
Especially when politicians compete to come and deliver their empty promises
