Emma Jane Pearson Poems

As day light breaks through equal bliss,
I look at my fingers and hands,
Expecting them to write anything, just anything,
Anything to do with how I feel for you.
...

The flowers have died and weltered,
Like the memories he has built.
I wish that day we spend together,
Could have lasted forever.
...

She was only ever ‘that girl’,
The one who always awoke instantly from the sound of:
An angry door slamming,
A single tear hitting the cold floor,
...

On that cold winters day I recall:
The sky was grey and,
The wind tormented us so.
You whispered gently in my goose pimpled ear:
...

5.

Rain is
The tears cried by one million people,
All fears,
And all tears,
...

Each minute I’m sitting here
Why don’t I just leave?
One year has drifted past
Another has flown by.
...

Dream catcher entangle
My dreams in your cobweb structures,
Do not ever be ablaze like a candle.
...

Two souls alone and hurting,
Two different worlds,
Two separate bonds from the same mould.
One an easy target,
...

It was a fine day,
When we first met face-to-face for the first time,
But you didn’t know what to say to me, and
I didn’t know what to say to you.
...

You’re tripping, tricking me out,
Making me fall harder each time,
Let me down before I get to high,
Only say hello, never goodbye.
...

Good memories spread out on the walls
In photos and old love notes from the past.
Everyone looks so perfect
Standing in front of crowds.
...

Read the colours flying though the sky,
In blue and yellow strips.
Flying past as butterfly’s in the sky.
A bark you might ask why?
...

I'm stuck in a land of
Deserted love now full of hate.
In a school playground where
Best friends are now enemies:
...

Walk away from that lost soul,
Pretend that you're a painted picture hanging on a wall,
Kiss these silent dreams goodbye;
For this is the last night.
...

Raindrops start to fall heavily
Upon her parade
He doesn’t love her,
Like she loves him.
...

How can he continue
Living in this, unwritten book of lies?
As he watches the sky turn blood red,
Everything suffocates, burns and drowns
...

You only ever have that one special friend
That teaches you to see yourself and the world as beautiful.
One way of looking at everything very carefully
To pick up on every last detail.
...

We are under the exact same livid sky,
Which is blue during the day.
And grey at night:
The time which you are away dreaming,
...

She's looking and scanning
All of these strangers faces,
Looking for the only one which she knows.
The only one that she wants to see,
...

Here I stand,
And here you stand.
I'm In front of you,
For the very last time.

The Best Poem Of Emma Jane Pearson

To You From Me

As day light breaks through equal bliss,
I look at my fingers and hands,
Expecting them to write anything, just anything,
Anything to do with how I feel for you.
I gaze around, and nothing is helping,
I come to realize that I’ve always been hesitant
To admit my feelings.
Nevertheless, at least now, I can try my best to do so.

There are ever so many songs which reminds me of you.
Sometimes it’s even hard listening to the radio,
Especially after a bad day,
When everything has been going wrong.
The words very often taunt me,
Because it’s scary how so many lines they vocalize,
Relate back to you, only you.
But now, it’s time for me to say them myself.

I speak to you every day, but somehow,
We always end up playing the same old game.
We talk of “how your day’s was and other events,
But I always wonder if there’s more to say,
Something which, I’m hiding from you.
But, for now we’ll play out our parts, that’s all what’s left,
Your friendship means more to me,
Than anything this world provides.

And finally, whatever between us,
I’ll always be able to forgive, and never forget you.
Because without you around,
It’s like feeling homesick the whole time,
For a place that doesn’t exist.
For the both of us I’m sorry I feel this way,
I know I shouldn’t,
But it’s something I cannot help.
