Train wheels
Screaching against ardent metal rails

At first I didn’t recognize you
I thought that you were queer
One look into each other’s eyes
Our souls revealed and bare

A spear darts from your mouth
Hitting my ears
And piercing my soul
Like a spear pierces through water
...

Atop this cliff
Golden rays set in the distance
Torrential water suddenly slaps my legs
and rushes past my feet
...

Small room, tight quarters
Staying course through winding labyrinths and corridors
Someone clears the trail
Ridding it of obstacles
...

Seething coals
Flickering embers
Yearning to burn
Wanting to strike
...

Lying in his arms
Her hand resting in his
Souls melting
the divide
...

He gently takes the wine glass from her hands
Clear fluid wraps itself in waves along the walls
Sending wafts of round floral essense into the air
Reaching nostrils
