Gunturk Ustun Biography

Raised in Izmir by the Aegean Coast, Mr Güntürk Üstün, a retired medical doctor, a poet, a long-time transportation, gastronomy and chess fan, he currently works on his new books of poetry [He has written and published 11 books (all in Turkish) until now]. His poems have been published in various literary journals and anthologies and some book prefaces in Turkey. Apart from his native Turkish, Mr Üstün is also fluent both in English and French. He resides in Izmir. Constantly stuck inside of some
Dazzling Mediterranean cruise plans
For another uncertain summer or autumn
Luckily, dreaming is always free of charge and harmless
So is writing short and sincere maritime poetry
