This poem is dedicated to Alejandro Dorantes Junior. Although the poem is confusing, I will forever cherish the memories of our childhood that we formed, even if we grow older.. This poem symbolises our journey through life and how things change. Remember I will always love you, my little boy!

Exposed, bare white skin,
Reflecting off the surface of the tub

Hated on and looked down upon because of my race

Discriminated because of the latin resemblance on my face.

I wanted that glossy blonde hair
Blue eyes, long legs,
and triumphant stare.

Pressing the breast plate against my chest,
Double-checking the helmet is over my head
The adrenaline racing through my veins,
