Your hair,
The way it flows,
The ways it grazes you shoulders,
Your neck,

I see my world in comic strips, in still frames
While in the car together I see us next to each other
and then I can literally see the car grow
Our seats are now miles apart
...

As you sit here crying for me
It’s on deaf ears
I feel it’s not real
You’re not real
...

I went from being the only one
To one of many
Tried to hold on to anything
The littlest of details
...

I’m done crying
I’m numb
Numb to you
Numb to life
...

We lay side by side,
As I lay completely empty,
I feel so un-alive,
But then a slight breath from your mouth runs down my shoulder
...

As rivers of tears stream down my face
I think could this be it
Could this be what I was searching for
Could this be the truth
