The Walled Garden

I stumbled if by accident upon a cold tall wall
Although, i was always meant to be lead there
The touch enough would make your skin crawl
The way forward barred, as far as i was aware

I ventured back to this lamentable place
Searching, seeking a gateway that had to be there
Scrutinizing the lock and key this location was encased
I wasn't aware how easily my curiosity it could ensnare

The third arrival brought me luck, i found a passageway
I place a foot forward unsure what i would find inside

Twilight World

Kiss the stars with me in twilight
We don't have long
The stars for us will shine bright
In our world together there is no wrong

Ignore the calls returning us to life
We could change the twilight sky
Turn our back on life's sheathed knife
Make it into sunlight turn a blind eye
