Twilight World Poem by jess deaves

Twilight World

Kiss the stars with me in twilight
We don't have long
The stars for us will shine bright
In our world together there is no wrong

Ignore the calls returning us to life
We could change the twilight sky
Turn our back on life's sheathed knife
Make it into sunlight turn a blind eye

Swirling shade of blue dance in our eyes
As the sun bows to the night and kisses the earth
Dropping defences unmasking the guise
All the waiting has been well worth

I will be the one waiting any time you fall
I'll take a piece of you and hold it forever
Tell me anything you need any time at all
In our twilight world we will be together

Time has come and time has past
Still to wake with a smile
In the swirling blue we always last
Together again just wait a little while

Beautiful, very soothing and romantic. Reminds me of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer :)
