But some, and only a few are around,

In the busy lives we lead,
As we hustle from day to day,
Finding time for you is hard,
As more and more problems come our way.

Was the first poem he was taught,
It was by William Wordsworth,
It was very short.

I ponder o’er my keyboard now,
Will my hands make words on keys?
Will words into a poem go?
And will those words thee please?

Poetry is a Therapy,
It makes me use my Brain,
During periods of inactivity,
I’d otherwise go insane.

What is all the F.U.S.S. about?
I hear them all say,
The Meeting of a Futuristic Utopian Social Society
Is happening here today.

Why do I write Poetry?
Why are my poems read?
What have I to say that’s different?
Has it not already been said?

The shadow that we hide behind
When arranging our first date,
Is not a place, to which we should go,
Or stay behind too late.

Into your ear I whisper,
Rhymes especially for you,
And I hope that my words will tell you,
How I feel about you.

Put away the H-2-O, let our fire burn
For what is love if not afire,
Shall we let it, or shall we squirm?
When affection turns in time
