Heading onwards towards the stars,
Travelling through the Milky Way,
Not the name of a chocolate bar,
But a journey along the celestial way.

This site is here to make us think
And relish our Fellow Poets’ words,
When we do scan for poems anew,
To subject them to our scant Review.

They say 'Life is worth living',
They say 'Be thankful for what you have got',
I try to always remember
When my Life is worth 'not a jot'.

It is our duty to remember,
To keep those Memories alive,
Of the atrocities in Nazi Germany,
Between Nineteen Thirty Three and Forty Five.

My Mother was a Nottingham Lass
And went to High Pavement School,
To Waverley Mount she went to Club
And to Chaucer Street to Shul.

Thrice a day I write my poems,
The words just come to me,
Ideas flow from Mind to pen,
And end in verses for thee.

When I read a poem
I look to see
Whether the verse
Appeals to me.
