I thought that this christmas would be lonely and blue.
Thought my heart would never give me something true.
I always asked my mind the recurring question, who?
I thought that I would pretend to smile and let christmas go on through.

I won't cry, I won't lie, I won't die.

Every time I try to get to you
You fly so much further away.
Why won't you just want the affection.
Is it because you've been hurt once before?

All I talk about when I speak my words
Is how much I really like you and
How much I don't wanna lose you.
I know that at times I can be so foolish.

I'd give anything just to be able to make it up to you.
I know I won't ever feel fine until my heart stops hurting.
It's making me sick sitting here waiting to hear from you.
But there's nothing I can really do except sit here feeling lonely and blue.

Did you not say that you could never stop liking me?

I can't stop shaking from all the pain.
