Poema Y Música Se Parecen (Poem And Music Are Similar)

Una vez leí un poema, unas notas,
en ellas un poeta decía
no saber que era la poesía
pero sí, cómo prefería los poemas.
Y en sus textos daba al verso
tres condiciones fundamentales:
abstracto, dinámico y placentero.
Y al leerle yo pensaba, exacto
como la música y como el ángel,
algo nada físico que si se para muere
y mientras se mueve da placer.

Ten por cierto ávido lector de poemas
La música y el poema se parecen
porque la palabra quiere ser música
y la música quiere crear mundos
más que producir sensaciones.

(Once I read a poem, some notes,
in them a poet said
not knowing what poetry was
but instead, how he preferred poems.
And in his texts he gave the verse
three fundamental conditions:
abstract, dynamic and pleasant.
And when I read it I thought, exactly
like music and like the angel,
something not physical that if it stops dies
and while moving gives pleasure.

By the way, avid reader of poems, it's true
that the music and the poem are similar
because the word wants to be music
and music wants to create worlds
rather than produce sensations.)
