I string together the memories of a once beating heart
The strings pull forth the ability to feeling again
I search for words to describe how I feel once more
Yet nothing comes to mind as you lead me to your door

Forget me not was always my favorite game
Desolation was always my best friend
I grow a little colder as the days cross to weeks
My eyes get a little redder as the tears turn black

My bloody eyes to cry at night
and i cant stand to see the sight
of mourning souls and dying dreams
cause everything is loosing its seams

Tainted by the sight of your frame
The way your touch makes me insane
I carve for more each time you awake
I want you to steal me and then you may take
...

I told him not to go that he would only fall
the tears poured from his eyes as he begged me not to call
I wanted to embrace him and be the one to catch him if he fell
but he was the only one who could ever tell

One moment I am noticed by every one
The something happens and everything's done
My hearts stops beating and I cant hear its song
My eyes filled with tears and I knew I didn't belong

My mind races on the times
We have spent together
Holding hand in broad daylight
Whispering I love you
