Like a boat tethered to the shores of grief

Some saw undulating hills of bliss
And a stream and a waterfall
They that saw them were lovers and poets
But of no no future consequence at all

Pots and pans, Pots and pans,
This is all I've got to do
Cook and wash the live long day
A girl child whose future is doomed.

In this world of increasing divinity
There is so little sense of humanity
Dead, all want the heaven they love
Nobody wants to create it here and now
