how I felt them change me
altering my very appearance
entranced by the melody

what you feel you do not feel
who you love you do not love
who you are you are not
how your pain has deceived you
...

to see her face, stings like hot iron
my chest melts as my heart ignites
like fire, my passion burns
to be with her, yet again
...

burn like flame, ignite like sun
your eyes shine like amber
your heart I once had won
your hair, vibrant like a golden metallic
...

Your eyes cannot be vague to me my dove
For you have shown me a new light
One which renews
One with shines through
...

No more tea and sympathy
No more tears and apathy
No more sleeping through the day
No more choosing to stay
...

Walking in the night you pace back and forth
you look to the sky for answers, for meaning
yet you find yourself denying safety, forgetting truth
the smirk that shines from your face
