As today the cherubs rise with haste
While only silence sings.

Midwinter dew drops
Falling upon the crunching plain
Slowly freezing, making way
For the wondrous winter stain.

Warmth
Sweet, relaxing warmth
Engulfing my body like a
Wooshing tropic wave

If you can't understand my silence
You won't understand my words
And you will never understand
How much you haven't heard

The lights extinguished
And the curtains drawn
I sit on my unmade bed

Isolated from the outside world
