Aspiring and perspiring both in vain

A day of giggles and a day of pain
An eye with grief, the other in glee
An eye with mischief the other in revenge!

A pretend world hides behind my lids,
A sky of my own and the place of my will.
My horizon just, where I wish to see…
And time as long as I want it to be…

When agony reached a point of no return,
When I wanted to change the place of mars and Saturn!
When stars mocked me,
When faces stalked me,
...

There was something that made music in between our lines,
Something that stepped up in between as we stood,
There was a magnetism that pulled and that repelled
Our eyes said the gist and our words fumbled for stories…
