Please Stop

She hated her life
She wanted to die.
Every night when she came home
She started to cry.
She slit her wrists
To kill the pain.
She cut a vein.
The blood runs down
Her pale white arm
Her parents had no idea
Of what was going on.
Then one day she found the gun
In her dad's top drawer.
A few seconds later
She was dead on the floor.
Her parents thought of her
Every night
Hoping and praying
She went toward the right light.

Please stop teen suicides.

Forget Me Not

Memories run together,
Some fade away.
Like the seasons of changing weather,
None here to stay.

The long roads we walked
To get to this place.
The ways that we talked,
Sometimes set in our ways.

Forget me not in the winter
When skies have turned to grey.
All the good times together
Shall never go away.
