She hated her life
She wanted to die.
Every night when she came home
She started to cry.
She slit her wrists
To kill the pain.
Everynight
She cut a vein.
The blood runs down
Her pale white arm
Her parents had no idea
Of what was going on.
Then one day she found the gun
In her dad's top drawer.
A few seconds later
She was dead on the floor.
Her parents thought of her
Every night
Hoping and praying
She went toward the right light.
Please stop teen suicides.
@Sina, Thuis poem was not to endorse suicide. It is to tell the story of how depressed/suicidal people feel. I personally feel that we have lost far too many people to suicide. If anyone feels suicidal, I strongly encourage they get help.
Oh. It was a perfect poem. You know, I wish I had her courage. I am tired of being. Anyway. Good poem. I'd like to know your ideas about my poems. Thanks.
really brilliant write telling how people suffer from depression and showing there pain is incredible and it is wrote incredible too...i know the feeling i have gone through depression in my early teen and it is not a pleasing feeling you just want to give up everything no matter how our family try to make us happy it just doesn't matter you just stop caring and the point when you actually started to enjoy your misery that is the point when you lost your every hope but i found myself to not going to that point my poetry save me and i think your poetry will save many lives too again a brilliant write thank you so much mam for sharing this with us love, payal
