How do you go from,
somebody who had to rely on yourself,
to trusting people around you,
and let them help you any way you can?

tired of walking in the shadows,
down a path not for me,
i made a new path,

world not all that it seems,
it's a cruel place,
where things happen,
without an explanation,

i know to you,
you probably think i can't control myself,
when it come to where my mind goes,
when we talk,

I look back in the past,
and i realize how i got so off track,
my life wasn't easy growing up,
been sexually abused,
...

is it just me,
or do you feel it too,
i love being around you,
we spend out free time,
...

i know i'm not perfect,
but i'm not always to blame,
i can't keep feeling guilty,
for how somebody else feels,
...

Pretending is what the world coming to,
it okay to be a fake,
as long as you appear normal,
it's okay to test things,
...

why is everything you say,
turn out to be not true?
i'm not the girl who will turn her back,
