For the gifts and for treasured words, ideally lasting a while
The words so genuinely heartfelt
I long to leave their intended readers with a smile

For two hundred and twenty five days
My eyes have cast a gaze
on language learning apps with games and tasks
Some tell me its all a farce

It's coming almost two years since I have graced the stage
With the white lights shining down onto me
Remembering each line from the old script page
Let it be a classic, like Shakespeare of the Greek Odyssey

For years we've loved our sunburnt country
But now many have come to find the heat unbearable
As our eucalyptus burn
And our great reefs bleach
...

Gone are the days I'd say of needing it all right in one place.
For now consumers are spoilt for choice and life has taken such a fast pace
Milliners, weavers, garment makers all once flocked.
to great retail institutions to share their stock.
