“ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, let there be light, and there was light.’ (Genesis 1: l-3)

The Seed

“ He also said, “ This is what the Kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground.” (Mark: 4: 26)
...

‘... unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.’
(Jesus Christ)

I won´t forget the day
...

Surrounded by pain and suffering
My eyes … I looked away
Trying to find sense and purpose
My mind confused, my faith gone astray.

Under The Master´s Table

He replied, “ It is not right to take the children´s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

Living Poetry We Live by

When life seems so grim,
...

‘ All this I will give you, ’ he said, ‘ If you will bow down and worship me.’ (Mt.4: 10)

Mirror, my mirror!
...

Online news and television channels
Display his unpredictable behavior
And convincing speech – the one of a savior.
At least for those inattentive hungry souls
...

Somewhere deep in my heart
Someone whispered that I am free…
So, how can I be a slave?
liberty has its place down and deep in me.
...

I´ve tried to snatch you away from me
As an atheist I named myself,
I´ve tried to blot your name out from heaven
I´ve cried out loud you were dead
...

“... In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Rm.8: 37)
...

The journey will be long …
The voice of silence is so loud!
My soul thirsts!
A silent tear insists on falling.

Influenza

‘ Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote. His face turned pale and he was frightened that his knees knocked together and his legs gave way.” (Daniel 5: 5-6)
...

“ For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the
Sovereign Lord...’ (Ezekiel 18: 32)

Someone died
...

‘ I will go over and see this strange sight – why the bush does not burn up. ‘ (Ex.3: 3)

Sometimes I wonder
Why our jars of clay have endured so much.

“ In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, let there be light, and there was light.’ (Genesis 1: l-3)

Come nearer, you my Maker
Words lie there formless, dead, waiting for meaning
Come and fill this void with light
Name the nameless, conquer the loneliness of this land
Inhabit this empty heart
The breath of your spirit:
The deep made Eden.
