In the realms of verse, where emotions dance,
I find solace in the poetic expanse.
Where words take flight, emotions alight,
Poetry, to me, is pure delight.

Seeking solace from a world that had me ensnared,
Yearning for a presence, a guiding light,
A person to fill the void, to make things right.

In whispers that stir the quiet air,
Gossip echoes, light as a feather.
Yet beneath the surface, hides despair,
In the bonds that it seeks to sever.

In the heartland of Nigeria, politicians rise,
With promises as sweet as nectar, they catch your eyes,
A dance of pretence, a masquerade in disguise,
They wear a mask of hope, beneath the African skies.

With a heart that's weathered storms, and eyes that have seen anew.
He called upon the youth, with words from depths of old,
To guide them through life's paths, where secrets are untold.

There's a tale of trust and deceit,
A dance of shadows beneath your feet.
