महल की दीवालों को मत देखो
बहुत रँगी-बिरँगी रची-खची दीखती थीं;
इतिहास गवाह है, यारों,
यहाँ शहजादियाँ भी भूखों मरती थीं।

महल की दीवालों को मत देखो बहुत रँगी-बिरँगी रची-खची दीखती थीं; इतिहास गवाह है, यारों, यहाँ शहजादियाँ भी भूखों मरती थीं।.....so touching and impressive. We mustn't see only the attractive and beautifully painted wall of the palace, but also we should see the inner beauty of its king and queen. A brilliant poem brilliantly presented.
