The name of this country is changed many times in past. Bharat is one of the ancient name but meaning of India is not similar to Bharat although both the terms are used simultaneously for the same country. The name Hindustan is not given by ancient Indians to this country but western people call this land as Hindustan due to the influence of Sindhu civilization which is pronounced by western people sometimes as Indu and sometimes as Hindu. Hindustan is derivative of this. Mass of multi ritualistic and diversified inhabitants of this subcontinent is not well understood at that time in ancient days and people specifically while British came named the people's religion as Hindu which is still continuing. Generally ancient Arabic people have given name of Hindustan to this country, which means the land where multi cultural multi believers and multi ritualistic people reside and have freedom and unity with diversity. It does not matter in which name people call, unity matters a lot. Style of representing your poem is fine. Thanks for sharing this with us.
