076. It’s Gone Poem by Jaden Knight

076. It’s Gone

It’s gone
it’s all over
the pain is going away
soon the scars may fade
then I will come back for revenge

You used to say I love you
you used to say that you cared
but then why when you were needed
were you never there

When you were hurt and needed me
I was always there
you kept pushing me away
saying I did not care
I tried to help you with every thing
but I got nothing in return

You said I never loved you
when I proved that I always cared
but when you refused to see
I thought that you were scared

Is this the way you prove your love
by getting rid of me
telling your friends I treated you wrong
turning them against me
I now have no more options
but to break my promise

Vengeance is mine
it will always be mine
your lies could destroy
so I will destroy you
all I wanted was to be so happy
but you’ve ruined the dream
now it will become your nightmare

gee, Profanisaurus, at first this sounded familiar; maybe it is similar to another of your poems. then i finished reading and looked for a comment from me. but, alas, i see none! another wonderful poem, if one enjoys reading about mishaps, mischief, and misery! ! ! to MyPoemList. maybe in a showcase some day? OR would it bring everyone's mood down too much, i wonder. hmm? i liked the few rhymes you offered also. have a spine-tingling Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus weekend! ! ! bri :)
