(1) The Tears That Softly Fall Onto A Grave Poem by Uriah Hamilton

(1) The Tears That Softly Fall Onto A Grave

Pull yourself together,
stop being in disarray
like a drunken rogue
too many lonely years in the bottle.

You've been shattered on the highway,
You're heart is like splintered glass
gleaming in the rain beneath city lights
but sharp and painful to everyone you meet.

The days are dwindling
like a dying monk's prayers
in which to genuinely love someone;
do you really want to leave this place
without having truly touched another's face?
