1000 Pointless Wishes Poem by Matthew Holloway

1000 Pointless Wishes

Rating: 5.0

I wish I could take back yesterday
And all those days before
Back when life felt more easier
I wish I could take back all that time
Erase it from history
And find the person I knew as me
Stop them and say, stay true, believe
I wish I could take back actions and words
But alas I cannot do any of that
I wish i could take back yesterday
I wish oh I wish

1000 pointless wishes ! ! ! ! It is never pointless as you want to go back to find your true self.A child is born innocent. But gradually he is conditioned by different factors. He has to behave in certain way.He has to learn what his parents want him to learn. He is moulded by others. We are not what others see us.A seeker of truth aspires to find his own self.A beautiful poem, thanks for sharing.

Thank you, thank you i wrote this piece more as an emotion which feels like wishes are left unheard or too impossible to become true. i eagerly keep wishing however futile it feels. thank you again for your kind words
