3. அறிந்ததும், செறிந்ததும்;

அறிந்தேன் எவரும் அறியா மறையை; அறிந்து கொண்டு
செறிந்தேன், உனது திருவடிக்கே; திருவே வெருவிப்
பிரிந்தேன், நின் அன்பர் பெருமை எண்ணாத கரும நெஞ்சால்
மறிந்தே விழும் நரகுக்கு உறவாகிய மனிதரையே.


என் அன்னையே! எவரும் அறியாத மறையின் பொருளை உன் அருளால் அறிந்து கொண்டேன். அதன் பயனாக, உன் அன்பர்களின் பெருமையை மதிக்காத தீ வினையாளர்களை விட்டு விலகி விட்டேன்.
உன் திருவடிகளிலேயே நான் தஞ்சம் புகுந்து விட்டேன்.

arindhen, evarum ayiyaa maraiyai; arindhukondu
cherindhen, unadhu thiruvadikke; - thiruve! - veruvip
pirindhen, nin anbar perumai ennaadha karuma nenchaal,
marindhe vizhu narakukku uravaaya manidharaiye

Abhirami, I never tried to associate myself with your devotees; due to that reason my mind, that is dwelling in hell goes behind mortals; this I realize now; so I have severed those associations; I have realized you Abhirami, the Vedas personified; all these have resulted in my merging in your revered feet; you are my companion.
