109. Angela Poem by Jaden Knight

109. Angela

Ok why is you staring at me
in the way you are
I don't get it
we only just met and you is already thinking
that we could be more than friends

You ought to be careful
thinking like that
I could be the wrong one for you
and you won't even know that it's too late

Ok maybe I'll play along
but I aint being dragged yet
just as I'm about to say yes
I remember what a friend once told me

Sex is a massacre
love is like a war
passion is a sin
but not as bad as some
too much fighting going on today
why do you want to join it
a single one you are my friend
and single you should stay
let these others do what they will
but don't let them get in your way

I'm sorry that I can't say yes
but I ent ready to go to battle
you'll have to find some one else
who's more willing to fight for your life

I bid you farewell and wish you luck
in your quest to find what you've wanted
before that be careful
and til then may you be unconquered
