When I am lost you found me
when I was hurt you patch me up
and cause my hurt to heal
when the clouds gathered you turn them away
when I am sad you make me smile
and wipe away the tears from my eyes

Where I had no point I have purpose
now I know what I can do
where I had darkness I have light
shine on me forever
where I had ruins I have a garden
may the flowers never die
where I had no one I have someone
my angel and my light
where I had nothing I have love
stay with me forever

I try to do my best for you
making sure it’s not one way
I give you what I can
confidence and truth
for I have never lied to you
and am not ever intending to start

When you fall I’ll catch you
when you cry I’ll make you laugh
when your down I’ll pick you up
when you talk I’ll listen
when things crumble I’ll be your rock

I want to hug and kiss you every day
and enjoy all our time together
for in your arms I’m happy
and I want to be with you forever
