2 Corinthians 6: 14 Poem by Charles Exton

2 Corinthians 6: 14

If the person you marry does not have Gods light
God says what your doing is not right
This most important subject of God will always lead to a fight
This will probably happen almost every night
They will fill you with spite
They will take away from your relationship with the Lord being tight
Do not be kept in the relationship because they give you temporary delight
Before you marry dive into the Bible to read and write
The Lord will give you true sight
All the complexity of a relationship God makes clear as black and white
Follow his word and your relationships will be taken to a new height

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
