.2. Feeling The Heat Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Feeling The Heat

Several days soaking up sunshine
Beside the deep blue hotel pools
Where happy hour drinks came in doubles
Consumed by the sunbathing fools

Topped up they soon become sleepy
This leaves them a stunning reminder
To not fall asleep by the poolside
When summer sun sends you a blinder
