.2. Porter Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Porter

Could I have been a porter?
With patients on a trolley
Distracting them from what they ail
I’d joke to keep them jolly

I’d try to get round quicker
If my trolley would go faster
Could I fit an engine on?
But a crash could spell disaster
