.3. A Tall Story Poem by David Threadgold

.3. A Tall Story

Rating: 5.0

I built myself a time machine
And travelled to the past
Where dinosaurs looked hungry
So my visit didn’t last

I travelled to the future
Where food came in a pill
But apple pie with gravy on
Just didn’t fit the bill

I came back home to present day
Where animals are smaller
And if you want an ice-cream
Here food looks so much taller
