.2. Teatime Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Teatime

Rating: 5.0

My grandma toasted crumpets
On a roaring open fire
While granddad with a bale of hay
Went off to feed the shire

His horses were all workers
Not for carriages with trumpets
Granddad filled their nosebags up
Then went back home for crumpets
