There are words I want to say
But I wont
For fear
Im afraid of what they mean to you
I'm afraid of the power they possess
I'm afraid of the power they might lack
This fear keeps me from holding you too close
Keeps me frozen in time
Frozen in your arms
Frozen in your gaze
Like the ice you are in my hot tea
I feel wide open with you
So open
Like I'm turned inside out
Seems all you see
Is the beauty deep inside me
The colorful butterfly of my personality
The starry night on Jamaican sands
