223. No Calls Poem by Jaden Knight

No calls no messages
for you from your ex boyfriend
hardly surprising really
considering how you split

You try to call but the phone won't ring
just goes straight to voice mail
he's blocked your profile on facebook
only way you can contact him now
is a chance face to meeting

You go to his house intending to see him
his buds tell you he's not at home
say that he has a new queen
to rule his loving kingdom

'He will set off for her place when he can
so that they can be together
leaving behind all the problems you caused
when he goes he won't ever come back'

It's then that you realise he's completely moved on
there's now no chance of a reunion
you can't follow where he will go
time to give up the chase

You may cry about it now and then
and wish that you could get back
it will never happen
you should have known what would happen
when he discovered you had been cheating
