23 Fitzroy Road, Sisters Slumber Poem by DAVID GERARDINO

23 Fitzroy Road, Sisters Slumber

Rating: 5.0

NOTE books, full of mechanical
words, the approach is so simple,
just make some coffee, and read
a great book.
ITS a language problem your
teachers wood say, still in your
mind, you see, red, green or
blue.
NOTE books, filled with mud and
mire, slippery foot steps, is
olated from the calm summer.
ITS a language problem your
teachers would say, still in
your mind, its red, green, or
blue.

Hi David, Really great poem, fun and light to read. Again you are a unique writer and I enjoy reading your poems. This reminded me of my life in school. It was excellent poem. Take care.

Dear David Greatest things to be seen may never be found in a text book alone E.g. I was working in a class about four years ago when a Child of about 8yrs old was Seemingly lost in space whilst looking out of an upper window. He was said to be unusual.Yes he did seem to act differently from the others in class but in my mind only because of his openness and old fashioned expressions. I actually thought he was great. Not afraid to be himself. A rare commodity. When I asked him what he was thinking about he said with a slight reluctance.'Well... ……….Everything from out there has come from in here”, and then proceeded to point to his head. I needed time to digest this one. Anyway thankyou again for yet another great poem Love Duncan

Nice one David - Red green and blue are all we see withour eyes - but that doesn't mean to say thats all there is to see. Regards Egal...
