#279 Shakespearean Love Poem by Jimmie Arrington

#279 Shakespearean Love

I want see things I’ve never seen.
I want touch the obscene and unclean,
And watch it wash out with the rain.
I want to flap my wings at my own speed
And never have reason to bleed
In a world without any pain.

I want to find the essence of youth.
I want to learn the complete truth
Just by staring in your eyes.
I want to know the meaning of forever,
Bound together, never to sever
In a world with no goodbyes.

I want to live, not just be alive.
I want to bloom, not just survive,
A fantastic fantasy I speak of.
I want to be in a pleasant haze
And spend the remainder of days
In a world with Shakespearean love.
