.3. Lean On Me Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Lean On Me

Should you need a shoulder to cry on?
Or an ear that can listen to trouble
Someone who cares for you deeply
Call me I’ll be there at the trouble

Along life’s way if you should stumble
I’ll get you back onto your feet
Your foes will go running for cover
As each one in turn I’ll defeat

Your champion waits for your bidding
Don’t cry while my shoulder lie’s free
I’ll help you to conquer your troubles
With one simple call through to me
