Great rhyme about a touchy subject I am an activist for the random cutting of trees. I loved how you put the questions about pain, birds etc.Great poem as always
Beautiful! 10! I have some 100 yr. old Maples in the front drive of my farm. One year we had a warm winter day and the tree began to weep it's lifes blood of sap. However it had quickly turned cold once more, freezing the sap that had slid itself down over the coach lantern I have hanging on it. It looked like some caves formation. I took a photo of it and it now hangs on my wall. Trees are such beauty. I think sometimes I can hear them singing in my woods. But, that's just the romantic in me talking. God Bless, Linda
