33 Poem by Tori Bachue

I see what is not there

Her, falling towards me

A waterfall of beating kisses

The extraordinary normalcy

Of two lives that came together

Intertwined, and now those memories

Are stronger than what is right

I should go and n'er return

But the skies and stars

Now choose to betray my plight

Guiding me back

To a cursed infatuation

Do I even want the cure?
