Jed is not just a dog
nor is he even a pet
he is so much more than this
in the eyes if those who love him

Loyal and friendly as he was raised right
doesn't expect much from the universe
he just wants to be loved and respected
and he more than returns what is given

A most excellent confident of secrets
even if he doesn't understand what you say
an entertainer with his antics
and a healer in his own special way
