365. Poem by Jaden Knight

365.

I do not care if I should die tonight
the thought of the scythe man bothers me not
I would face him as an old foe
but welcome him as a friend

I do not fear the thought of losing today
although in reality you can not win
dice won't work against the ace of spades
and your hand isn't good enough to beat it

I worry not about the consequences
there is nothing you can do
people aren't interested enough
to bring about your lies

I do not care if I should fall tonight
the thought of the scythe man bothers me not
the problem is I'm already gone inside
I died the day I met you
